When our family faced the biggest crisis of our lives, we buckled down and found a solution. Supported by our community, we saved our home and became local legends!

In early 2023, we chose to buy this home. Set in one of the most visited state parks in the US, we were enchanted. However, we soon found that our inspection had missed a big detail. >1000 seasonally migratory bats.

Community

It took time, but we asked for help and it came! Multiple state agencies and the girl scouts put up bat boxes, while we found the right mix of DIY and contractors to fix our home.
